AFTER SCHOOL CARE PROGRAMS

Our after-school program is jammed packed with activities! We pick up from over 40 different schools within DeKalb and Gwinnett County. With our seven van fleet, we can accommodate your every need! We pick up the kids from school, and upon arriving at our 19,000 square foot building. They check in with our secure fingerprint system. Then they separate into their classes based off-grade level to do their homework. Teachers assist each child with their homework, helping them as needed. After homework time each class breaks into activities! If a child hasn’t finished their homework or they need extra help they will go to extended homework where they will get the extra attention that they need.

Activities consist of tumbling (backflips), dancing, playing basketball, and creating arts and crafts. They do one of these activities a day for about an hour and a half. Finally, they gather their belongings and get ready to get picked up by you!

Although we don’t have set field trips like our summer camp we always expose the kids to new and exciting experiences and fun activities like a reptile show recently performed at Jams and our dancers got in the fun too when they host a Halloween costume party called “A Spooky Night with the Cats!”

After the final school bell rings, the adventure continues at Jam's Athletics afterschool program! Designed to provide a seamless transition from the classroom to the playing field, our program offers a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where kids can unwind, have fun, and continue to learn and grow.

 

Our kids after school programs are more than just about sports; they're about fostering a sense of community, building character, and instilling valuable life skills. With a diverse range of activities, from basketball drills to tumbling classes, our dedicated coaching staff ensures that every child receives personalized instruction and encouragement to reach their full potential.
